Empathy Over Ego Dog Training and Advocacy, is dedicated to being transparent, positive reinforcement training that is accessible to all.
Empathy over ego is not just a dog training community, it is my mission.
We (my client teams and I) are creating a ripple of kindness, starting with how we live with and train dogs.

I focus on a whole dog approach to training- taking into account all areas of the dogs life, including but not limited to: enrichment, exercise, medical history, grooming, prior training methods and more.
B.S aside- I train people so they can continue training their dogs.
It is called dog trainING, not dog trainED.
Learning and training is lifelong. Training gives dogs skills and enriches their lives. Skills help dogs navigate this crazy human world we throw them into so they don't lose their $hi! and neither do the humans living with them.

No matter what service you book with me, you’re going to learn: how your dog learns, what is reinforcing to your dog and resources to continue learning and training. All of this provided free from pain, fear or intimidation.

I get it! I know how it feels to live with and love a "labeled" dog. Fellow rescue dog mom here who fostered over 100 dogs & puppies and has worked with dogs, in ALL of the industry facilities- Veterinary Hospitals, Shelters, Rescues, Grooming, Daycare & Boarding, Dog-Walking and Housesitting.
THE DOG TRAINING INDUSTRY IS UNREGULATED!
This means ANY ONE can say they are a "dog trainer" and that they know how to train behaviors. Look for credentials, certifications and continuing education. Ask for references/testimonials. ASK/KNOW how they will train your dog.
At EOE, the goal is to provide real solutions to the common issues and the mind boggling challenges that dog guardians face. With 1-1 coaching and positive reinforcement, I make every reasonable effort to assist clients in establishing humane, realistic, training and behavior goals in accordance with the CCPDT Humane Hierarchy Position Statement as well as Do No Harm Dog Training Hierarchy of Needs and the Fear Free Pledge.
